I am working on getting a degree or two in some things at UC Berkeley.
I like Star Trek.
And Stephen King.
And, generally, life.
Just finished this book. While it’s a little outdated (it was originally published in 1997), it taught me a lot about the Hmong (who I’d only heard of in passing before) and about my own assumptions of American medicine. One of those books that reminds you, just because it’s the way you do things, doesn’t mean it’s the right way to do things.
Not the sort of book I usually pick up, but a good read nonetheless.
